The eighth event of the national training programme was held this morning to enhance the capabilities of those involved in the protection of human rights in the criminal justice system. It was organized by the Special Investigation Unit in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Royal Academy of Police and the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute.
The sessions dealt with the controls for the use of legal force in accordance with international standards and national legislation, and the cases and limits of the right of legitimate defense.
