This morning, the fifth event of the national training program was held to enhance the capabilities of those involved in the protection of human rights in the criminal justice system, which is organized by the Special Investigation Unit in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program, the Royal Academy of Police and the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies.
During the sessions, the speakers reviewed the role of law enforcement officials in protecting human rights within the framework of national legislation, the procedural conditions and controls for restricting freedom, and forms of criminal protection for victims and witnesses in accordance with approved international standards.
