The Acting Advocate General and Head of SIU, Mr. Mohammed Khaled Al Hazza’, received today, Ms. Fiona Walker, recently appointed as Deputy Head of Mission of the United Kingdom Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Al Hazza’ congratulated Walker on assuming her new role and wished her success. He then discussed the work of SIU, its jurisdictions, and its role in protecting human rights in the criminal justice system in accordance with relevant international standards.
The two officials also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and exchange experiences between SIU and the UK Embassy. They also reaffirmed the strong relations between the two countries.
