Mr. Mohammed Khalid Al-Hazaa, Acting Attorney General, Head of the Special Investigation Unit, received at the unit’s headquarters this morning, Eng. Ali Ahmed Al -Darazi, head of the National Institution for Human Rights.
During the meeting, ways of enhancing the cooperation between the two parties were discussed, and work to exchange experiences and support and develop national capabilities, in an effort to apply the best human rights standards and principles, in a manner that guarantees the strengthening of human rights in the criminal justice system in accordance with the relevant international agreements, standards and protocols.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mal Allah Al-Hammadi, Chairman of the Committee for visiting places of detention and facilities in the institution, Mrs. Rawdha Al-Aradi, Chairman of the Committee for Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-up at the Foundation, and Mr.Mohammed Al-Zubari, member of the Special Investigation Unit.
