Today, the second event of the national training program to enhance the capacities of those concerned with the protection of human rights in the criminal justice system has been launched, it is organized by the Special Investigation Unit under the patronage of the General Attorney Dr. Ali Fadhul Al-Bouainain collaborating with a group of officials and employees of national institutions, mechanisms and agencies concerned with the protection of human rights and those in charge of law enforcement.
The event was held at the Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies, in the presence of about 100 participants. It dealt with international human rights standards, especially those related to the protection of detainees and inmates, and combating crimes of torture or inhuman or degrading treatment.
The national training program is scheduled to continue until mid-March of next year, and it includes many workshops and discussion sessions, during that there will be a group of legal experts in the field of human rights will give a speech.
