SIU is headed by a member of the Public Prosecution office with the rank of an advocate general, and is assisted by a number of judicial investigators. Furthermore, Independent internal and external advisors are appointed to provide advice in its investigations.
In addition to the Head’s office, SIU organizational structure includes six specialized divisions; namely: Investigation, Forensic and Psychological Support, Information and Administrative Work, Judicial Police, Communication and Media, and Victim and Witness Affairs.
